We’re holding these two benefit shows over the Easter long weekend in April to help replace and/or upgrade broken/dodgy gear (speakers/mics/leads/stands etc.) to help all of the bands and audience members coming here to continue having an excellent experience. Hopefully also to offset some of the rising cost of utilities, recycling etc. and assist us in just keeping the doors open. So some of our absolute favourite bands are coming up/over/out to support us and entertain you (because they’re awesome)!

No Art / Bare Grillz / Unity Floors / 09.03.12

Posted in Performance, Posters/Flyers with tags , , on March 5, 2012 by blackwiretocommonground

Friday 9th March // 7pm // All-ages

NO ART (EP Launch) + BARE GRILLZ + UNITY FLOORS

“Exotica, No Art’s debut EP, is an exploration of unknown territories, drawing on ritual and symbolic objects. The songs stretch between stark minimalism and emotive depth, trawling through haunting harmonies and white noise.

‘boundary pushing and tonal deconstruction.…like an evening dying under the slow weight of stars.’

We promise to play all five songs live, and probably some others also.”
