HOLD ON! An afternoon of Art and Music / 14.12.14

HOLD-ON-14.12.14

Sunday 14th December // 1pm // All-ages

“Over the last 2 months, 30+ Sydney artists have been exploring the theme “HOLD ON!” in a range of different styles and mediums. Artists were given the freedom to interpret the theme however they wish. On Sunday 14th December the fruits of their labour will be revealed for all to see!

Artists contributing are:
Leah Jean, Amelia Rose, Ellie Rose, Mitch Harris, Mel Meek (Restricted Photography), Trisch Roberts, Carizza Teague, Alice Amsel, Glenno Smith, Jack Wotton, Stefanie Sara Mateus, Nina Tempone, Lizzie Nagy, Liam Limes, Elmo Aoyama, Emma Jenkins, EGG, Mac Archibald, Jessica Lawrence, Amy Carter, Anthea LeBroq, Carla Cutrone, Shona Brinley, Erin O’Brien, Arthur Seigneur, Hannah Saliou, Grimm Sugar, Luke Marcatili, Bronte Goodieson, Human Errxr, Torika Jones, Susan Murray, Luchi Smith, Johnny BB, Radmaxwho, Kirsten Von Kiki & Shit & Failure.

Accompanying the exhibition, will be an afternoon of homegrown music including Polyfox, Zzzounds, Jack & Elmo & Free Boots (Blossom McKenzie-King)!

The exhibition will be held at Black Wire Records in Annandale, which is an artist and volunteer run record shop, venue & gallery. The choice of this space is significant as we hope that Black Wire is the kind of place that will stand the test of time or “hold on”. It is a safe and supportive environment for young and emerging artists.

There will also be some delicious vegan food choices cooked fresh on the day!

This event is being held as a fundraiser for Black Wire Records, and Black Wire will be having a 10% off sale on everything in the shop!

Free entry, but gold coin donation appreciated :).”
