Trusty Chords Music, Hobbledehoy Records, Bombshellzine and Last Chance Records Presents:

‘The Young Troubadours Tour’

“Featuring three prolific singer songwriters, Austin Lucas (USA), Jamie Hay (Aus) and PJ Bond (USA), ‘The Young Troubadours Tour’ will travel the East Coast of Australia throughout January 2013.
Great artists in their own right, the three troubadours team up for a tour of intimate shows, which will see Austin Lucas and PJ Bond touch our shores for the first time.

Austin Lucas has raised his bluegrass/alt country profile on the road with Willie Nelson’s Country Throwdown tour, the troubadour-packed Revival tour, and in support of Pennsylvania’s Langhorne Slim. Lucas has also bolstered his loyal grassroots following with appearances at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Canada’s Sled Island Festival, Florida’s Harvest of Hope, and a 2011 European tour. Folk music is for the common folk, and Lucas delivers, often ending his shows playing on the floor amidst the crowd. His current album ’A New Home In The Old World’ is out now through Last Chance Records. To see Austin live in Helsinki click here

Jamie Hay, Newcastle’s favourite adopted Melburnian, has been dedicated to music for a vast portion of his life. From house shows, to huge festivals, international tours and regional youth centres, Jamie Hay has seen it all. Now the Conation/A Death In The Family/Fear Like Us vocalist opens a new chapter, with debut solo album KING OF THE SUN (out November 2).

PJ Bond is an American singer/songwriter who tells tales of letting go of things lost and holding on to those that matter. Nearly three and a half years of straight touring has seen Bond win over new folks in every city he’s been to. Bond’s most recent release “Brother Bones/ Baby Bones,” is a split album with his younger brother, Brian Bond, and is out on labels in the US, all over Europe and available through Itunes in Australia. The honest lyrics, thoughtful music, and high energy will be sure to captivate Australian audiences everywhere.”
